Later on in the day wonderful Hyrum and Tiffany joined use with cute little baby Rachel! We were so glad they were able to join us, here is a sweet pic. of baby Rachel...she is thinking, "come on Aunt Heidi not another pic I am trying to enjoy my crunchy, yummy snacks!
One of the funnest parts of the Wild Animal Park is going on the safari tour. The tour bus as you can see is pretty open...it is about a thirty minute tour that takes you to a free range of animals wandering around the open terrain which include; giraffes, rhinos, and cheetahs...just to name a few. The saddest fact of the tour was that the black rhino will become extinct within the next 15 years...it seems weird in this day and age animals are still becoming extinct.As you can see the rhinos were giving were not giving us much face time!

The most entertaining animal of the day were the lions..they were so playful! The cubs were wrestling while the other larger lions were lounging out on top of the range rover, this pic takes me back to the Lion King for sure!

how funny are those lions. paul always did love the wild animal park. glad you had fun doing something touristy, i am sure there is still a lot more for you to see.

Ahhhh...last time we were deciding whether to go to the zoo or the animal park, and we picked the zoo...we are going to have to go back soon, that is amazing how close you get...maybe it will keep Drew from wanting to take me on a 30 hour flight to Africa...=)

heidi you are very kind, but that is the worst picture of us every. why didn't someone tell me that my hair looked awful! that was a fun day though. go zoo times!
